Allison is a Health & Wellness Coach at Allison Wellness since 2005. She is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer, an AFPA Certified Nutritionist and Wellness Consultant, TV and web host, creator of EnLITEned Eats, and a corporate wellness consultant.
She holds a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where she also played collegiate-level soccer.
Allison believes in "awareness through education." Besides independent nutrition and fitness consulting, she has experience with a variety of other wellness avenues. She participated in the STAND Teenage Obesity Research Clinic at USC's Keck School of Medicine where she taught under-privileged high-school students the importance of a healthy lifestyle through exercise and nutrition education. She also has five years of experience working in a Physical Therapy clinic, teaching patients injury rehabilitation. She hosts live healthy cooking demos, as well as wellness seminars for large companies and private groups.
Allison is a native Californian. Originally from the Bay Area, she has lived and worked in Los Angeles since 2004.
